So a few minutes ago (3:30 ish), I woke up and I was really hungry. I kind of think that the reason i woke up isn't cos i'm hungry, but because I slept really early. I slept at like 11 ish because of soccer. I came home from soccer, and I was physically tired, so i just sort of lay down for a bit, and fell asleep. Heh, well time to talk a bit more about volunteering~
I've mentioned that I volunteer for the FIFA U20 World Cup Canada 2007. The specific place that I help out with is accreditation. Basically I am supposed to make ID badges for whoever needs them. There are three stations, greeter, photographer, and print/lam. The greeter station basically checks if you're on the system, and if you are, they put you in the image que (Q). The photographer then looks at the image Q and calls the person, and takes their photo. Printing/laminating station is sort of... self explanitory. The accreditation centre is right next to BMO Field, but they call it the National Soccer Stadium. In order to get to the accreditation centre, I first take the 42 cummer bus to finch, subway to union, and take this lovely streetcar to exhibition.

Well, on sunday there was the Steelback Grand Prix happening in Toronto. Basically there was a race track all around the stadium and everything surrounding the stadium. We had to get workers passes to get in! ;o So because of the race happening on sunday, and the game happening as well (Chile vs Austria) we were asked to help out with security. yay. we also got to carry their equipment! double yay! I got to walk into Austria's change room, and boy was it nice in there. I'm sad that I didn't have a camera on me at the time.
After volunteering, i left with a few of my fellow volunteers, and then they dragged me into watching the Chile vs Austria game from the food building. I only watched a few minutes, before I got bored and left. I got one of those Chile chants stuck in my head though. "Chi Chi Chi! Le Le Le! Chile! Chile!" hehehe. I think its a nice chant.
